Invitation to transfer to journalists - EESC press officers' seminar in Stockholm

On 26-27 November 2009 the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) will hold the 4th annual Press Officers’ Seminar in the European House in Stockholm, Sweden.
On this occasion, the EESC invites specialised journalists from the EU Member States to attend. The EESC will take care of the travel and
accommodation arrangements and costs of the participants.

This seminar aims to examine the broad and challenging issue of how to involve the specialist media in communicating Europe and its added-value by making it a partner in the communications process. It will also discuss the role which the specialist media can play in bringing Europe closer to the citizen and in creating a European public sphere.
